Rod Bending Charters Our Captains

Captain Jason Woods has been the proud owner of Rod Bending Charters for 20 years. He is a USCG licensed captain who  has over 35 years experience fishing the waters off Galveston Island. His whole life he has enjoyed saltwater and fresh water fishing and decided to make it his business.  He takes great pride in providing a once in a lifetime fishing experience for all his customers.

Captain Adam Nguyen has been fishing Galveston waters since he was a kid and started off as part of our team as a deckhand in 2024. He began the 2026 year running his own boat as a full time captain. His dedication and positive attitude make him a valued member of the crew.
