Rod Bending Charters is a full time private fishing charter service located in Galveston Texas.

We offer year round fishing trips that will meet the needs of any angler.

We are a family friendly business and would love for the whole family to experience the once in a lifetime fishing that Galveston Texas has to offer.

We offer inshore, close offshore, shark hunts and deep sea trips so the options are endless on what you can catch.

We have multiple boats to accommodate larger groups.

Our boats are fully permitted, insured and run by USCG licensed captains.

Jetty/Ship Channel Trip

Jetty/Ship Channel trips are a great year round trip for the whole family. Its a fast 20 minute boat ride to the fishing grounds with large varieties of fish to be caught.

This trip is offered in half or full day options in the morning or afternoon.

Expected catch for this trip depending on the time of year can include:

Redfish, Black Drum, Trout, Sheepshead, Flounder, Sharks, Stingray, Jackfish, Gafftop, Whiting, etc.

Shark Hunt

Shark Hunts are a fun filled action packed day catching large numbers of sharks running behind shrimp boats, on the beach front or to the close rigs.

This trip is 6 hours

Expected catch on this trip can include: Black Tips, Hammerhead, Spinner, Sandbars, Bull or Tiger Sharks, Kingfish, Jackfish, Bull Reds, etc.

Close Offshore Trip

Close Offshore Trips will take you out into the Gulf of Mexico fishing rigs, reefs and shrimp boats.

This trips is 6 hours

Expected catch on this trip can include: Kingfish, Sharks, Jackfish, Triple Tail, Spanish Mackeral, Redfish, Giant Stingray, etc.

Deep Sea Trip

Deep Sea Trips are a little longer boat ride but well worth it. This trip we will go 30-50 miles out and catch large varieties of fish.

This trip is approximately an 8 hour day.

Expected catch on this trip includes: Red Snapper, Kingfish, Ling, Mangrove Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Sharks, Triple Tail, etc.
